Tower Bridge Golden Sunset Countdown Timer

London doesn't usually do golden. It does grey, it does drizzle, it does that polite overcast thing that everyone pretends to love. I was walking the south bank with no plan at all when it happened. That's the thing about this city. You can't schedule the good light. You just have to be outside when it arrives. I sat on the wall, let the cold stone chill through my coat, and watched the sun slide down between the towers like it was being lowered on purpose. Strangers around me shared one long exhale. No one said much. Some views don't need narration. If you're ever here on a clear evening, skip the plans. Walk the river. Wait for the amber. It's worth the cold.
